Rich and creamy chocolate avocado mousse, a healthy and delicious dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup plant-based milk (almond, soy, or oat)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (alcohol-free)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Scoop the flesh of the avocados into a food processor.
  2. Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, plant-based milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor.
  3. Process until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or cocoa powder if desired.
  5. Spoon the mousse into individual serving dishes.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow it to firm up.

Notes

  • For an extra rich flavor, add a shot of espresso or strong brewed coffee.
  • Top with fresh berries, coconut flakes, or a sprinkle of chopped nuts.
  • This mousse can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
