Ingredients
Scale
12 ounces pretzels (rods or twists)
12 ounces chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white)
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother dipping)
Sprinkles, chopped nuts, or other toppings (optional)
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler.
If using, stir in the coconut oil until fully incorporated.
Dip each pretzel into the melted chocolate, covering about two-thirds of the pretzel. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
Place the dipped pretzels on the prepared baking sheet.
If using toppings, sprinkle them over the chocolate before it sets.
Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
Notes
For a thinner chocolate coating, add a little more coconut oil.
Experiment with different types of chocolate and toppings.
Ensure pretzels are completely dry before dipping.
