- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts, for garnish
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Combine cookie crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pie plate.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool completely.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth.
- Beat in powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Spoon filling into the cooled crust.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- For the ganache, heat heavy cream in a small saucepan until simmering.
