Easy homemade cinnamon rolls with a soft, fluffy texture and sweet cinnamon filling.

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup softened butter

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
  2. Heat milk, water, and butter until warm.
  3. Add warm mixture and egg to dry ingredients.
  4. Knead dough until smooth.
  5. Let dough rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll dough into a rectangle.
  7. Spread softened butter over dough.
  8. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
  9. Roll dough tightly and slice into rolls.
  10. Place rolls in a baking dish.
  11. Let rise again for 30 minutes.
  12. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.
