- 1 cup carrots (chopped)
- 1 cup celery (chopped)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil

- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
