Enjoy these soft, sweet Nutella morning buns for a delightful breakfast or brunch. They are easy to make and filled with rich Nutella for a chocolaty treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add warm milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread Nutella evenly over the dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into buns.
  8. Place buns in a greased pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until golden.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use warm, not hot, milk to activate the yeast properly.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place for best results.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
