A refreshing and easy-to-make sorbet combining the sweetness of mangoes and strawberries, perfect for a hot day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Blend mangoes and strawberries in a food processor until smooth.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat sugar and water over low heat until dissolved. Let cool.
  3. Mix the sugar syrup and lemon juice with the fruit puree.
  4. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for 4 hours, stirring every hour.
  5. Once firm, scoop and serve.
